Diggers on Construction Site

Clean Construction or Demolition Debris (CCDD) Testing and Professional Engineer Certification

Illinois EPA defines Clean Construction or Demolition Debris (CCDD) as uncontaminated broken concrete without protruding metal bars, bricks, rock, stone, or reclaimed asphalt pavement generated from construction or demolition activities.

Before a CCDD Fill Operations facility can accept CCDD generated from construction or demolition projects, they are required to obtain certification from a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) verifying that the CCDD/Painted CCDD or uncontaminated soil is indeed uncontaminated.

Banwo Environmental Services have licensed Professional Engineers that are knowledgeable about the CCDD regulations (as specified in 35 Ill. Adm. Code 1100) and can provide this P.E. certification for sites located throughout the state of Illinois.
